Candidates may apply for a European Award for a Doctoral Thesis on Molecular Magnetism - ADoc-MolMag by sending the following material before the 15th of April.
1.Three page summary of the thesis underlining major achievements reached during their thesis work.
2.A maximum of 3 recommendations/Comment letter from their supervisors and other scientists involved in their thesis work.
3.The list of publications obtained by their thesis work.
4.A CD with the electronic version of their thesis and their related publications in pdf format and the material of point 5.
5.Up to 3 figures connected to their thesis work to be used for the brochure and publicity of their work in jpg or tif, or bmp or png formats. They should be eye catching like for example the figures used for the table of contents or the front covers of the major scientific journals.
6.Permission to use their summary and figures in EIMMs spreading of knowledge activities.
7.Their CV, maximum 2 pages, with electronic and mail address valid up to August 2010.
8.Thesis must be presented and discussed within the period January the 1st 2008 - April 15th 2010.

European Award for Doctoral Thesis on Molecular Magnetism (ADoc-MolMag)The award is given to young talented people entering the field of Molecular Magnetism and closely related disciplines. Interdisciplinary subjects, use of new techniques, finding possible new applications, discovery of new phenomena and methodologies, important steps in the advancement of knowledge of the behaviour of Molecular Magnets will particularly be kept into consideration by the jury. The jury will be composed of three international renowned scientists operating in the field.
